Google has rolled out a major update to its Gemini-powered tools, introducing support for audio file uploads in the Gemini app. Free users can now upload up to 10 minutes of audio with five daily prompts, while AI Pro and AI Ultra users can upload up to three hours of content, including various file types and ZIP archives.

Alongside this, Search’s AI Mode has expanded to support five new languages: Hindi, Indonesian, Japanese, Korean, and Brazilian Portuguese. Powered by Gemini 2.5 integration, this update makes AI-driven search more accessible to a wider global audience.

NotebookLM has also been upgraded with new reporting capabilities, offering multiple formats like blog posts, study guides, flashcards, and quizzes. It now supports over 80 languages and provides options to customize tone and style, with a full rollout expected by the end of the week.

These updates highlight Google’s efforts to enhance Gemini’s versatility and make its AI ecosystem more inclusive and user-friendly.
