Luma AI has partnered with Adobe to launch Ray3, a generative video model that produces realistic 10-second videos without dialogue. Ray3 features advanced reasoning, lifelike motion, crowd simulations, precise physics, and HDR visuals in ACES2065-1 EXR format. Adobe Firefly subscribers can access unlimited generations until October 1, after which a pricing plan applies. Hollywood studios can license Ray3 separately, reducing the need for costly shoots.
Amit Jain, Luma AI CEO, calls Ray3 “the most intelligent video model on the market.” Twice the size of Ray2, it delivers sharper visuals, better prompt adherence, and smoother temporal flow. Features like Image-to-Video, Keyframes, and Draft Mode—up to 10x faster—integrate with Adobe Premiere Pro, giving creators efficiency without compromising quality.
Ray3 is central to Adobe’s Firefly ecosystem, supporting ethical transparency with built-in Content Credentials and no use of outputs for future AI training.
