Rabbit has announced RabbitOS 2, the second-generation AI operating system for its r1 companion device, introducing a fresh and colorful card-based interface designed to make navigation smoother and more intuitive. The updated design includes swipe and scroll gestures, providing a more seamless and engaging user experience.
One of the biggest highlights of RabbitOS 2 is the new AI-powered feature called Creations, which allows users to build tools, games, and software experiences directly on the r1 device by simply talking to it. These creations are generated in minutes and are ready to use instantly, bringing a new level of interactivity and customization to the platform.
Rabbit CEO Jesse Lyu explained that the update focuses on improving user experience and bridging the gap between expectations and the original software design.
Additional enhancements include improved multimodal conversations supporting voice, text, and images together, a redesigned interface for better conversation flow visibility, AI-generated images, local storage with AI-powered meeting summaries, multi-format media export, and enhanced task follow-ups through the integrated platform.
